Letlive. have dropped off their current tour with Every Time I Die. Their statement can be seen in the replies.

The Menzingers will be releasing On The Possible Past - a collection of eight acoustic demos recorded during the winter/spring of 2011 that showcase a portion of On the Impossible Past in its earliest form - on vinyl. You can pre-order it here. There's also an acoustic version of "Casey" streaming in the replies.

Yes, but that’s one of the things that’s so fucking annoying about it. Compared to, say, “The Times They Are A-Changin’,” or indeed anything by Crass or The Clash or Propagandhi, it’s so utterly vacuous. It’s a Hallmark card set to music. There’s a pretty high dose of hypocrisy in here as well. For a man who had a dedicated, refrigerated room in his New York penthouse apartment for storing his fur-coat collection to sing “Imagine no possessions” takes a fair amount of chutzpah. I mean, I have no problem with the man collecting fur coats. Whatever floats your boat. But there’s a certain strain of material...

We’re now back here for the whole of this month to make the record. We are working with the amazing Rich Costey (that’s the reason we aren’t recording in England, incidentally; I’ve wanted to work with Rich for a long time). It’s exciting and daunting in equal measure. I’m pretty confident in the songs I have this time around, and I really feel like this is an opportunity to work on being a recording artist, using the studio as a proper tool. Or something like that. Time will, of course, tell, but I’m putting my bets down now on this being a good one.

One of the good things about the internet…the internet is a fact. So, I think it’s sort of like getting overexcited about downloading being a terrible thing. It’s just a waste of time, because it just is. So, you deal with it, you know what I mean? But one of the interesting things about music is that I think music is a lot less monolithic. Prior to the internet being around, I can remember from when I was a kid, basically in the UK, if you got Radio One and NME on your side, you’re huge. That’s it. Veara's new record is currently being mixed. This is the band's follow up to What We Left Behind and will be out on Epitaph Records in early 2013. The Record was produced and mixed by Dan Korneff.
