Realistically, there’s no way that the full album could come out before next year. I don’t think that’s possible. I would love it to — maybe it will. But I feel like 2014 is a much safer bet for a new album. We may release some songs prior to that, and you might know about it, but it takes time to set up a record. These days, maybe we’d record a record and release it right after we were done and not have any set up, because I don’t know how to do these things anymore. It all changes so much every day.
Ladies and Gentlemen, let us be the first to introduce you to our newest member: Claudio Rivera! He is an old friend who has played many roles in our life as a band over the years. We are very excited to embark on this musical journey with him at the drum helm. Be sure and give him the glad hand should you spot him this summer at the Vans Warped Tour. Hell, that goes for any of us. Take care and we’ll see you soon.
Our beloved drummer Tony Thaxton has decided to leave the band. We really hate to see him go, but we fully support him in his choice and wish him the absolute best in the future. Tony’s contribution to the band over the last 11+ years was immeasurable, both on the stage and off. We’re really glad to have been able to share some truly amazing times with such a great drummer and friend. He will be missed.

It appears as though tickets were on sale for a Motion City Soundtrack show on November 11 at Irvine Plaza in New York City with support from Jukebox The Ghost and Now, Now. We haven't heard if this is a full tour yet, but of course we will update the story whenever we can.
You can listen to Justin Pierre (Motion City Soundtrack) give an incredibly revealing interview about his struggles with drug addiction and the hardships the band faced while making Go on the new Men's Health Podcast.
You can stream two new Motion City Soundtrack songs - "Circuits and Wires" and "Boxelder" - here. There are also videos that describe the making of the songs. Go comes out June 12 via Boombox Generation / Epitaph Records.
