The Crimson Armada have disbanded to allow frontman Saud Ahmed to focus on his new band, The Holy Guile.

Attention for everyone who has been waiting for the news. Saud has decided to make The Holy guile a full time band with all new members. With that being said TCA will not be putting out another album. We appreciate every last fan who supported us through thick and thin ! Dr.Acula started off as a joke back in 2005. Over the years we kept our sense of humour and pissed off many people. I have nothing but love and respect for ALMOST everyone that's ever been a part of DA. Especially my brother Kevin who saved this band on many occasions. Yes, it’s true. 2012 will be Lifestory: Monologue’s final year.
This summer Richard made us aware that his heart had shifted. He informed us that he desired to make his family and career the primary focus of his life and with this part ways with Lifestory: Monologue. We felt we’d got to a point where what we did as a band – and specifically the writing, recording, touring cycle – wasn’t doing justice to what Chumbawamba set out to do in the first place. We were always as much about ideas as music, and that meant doing more than writing, recording and touring songs. It meant trying to be relevant and active and up-to-date, while trying to avoid the dreaded rut of routine or repetition. being up-to-date meant giving plenty of time and energy to the band, constantly, for those thirty years; a constancy we plainly couldn’t keep up with in the end.

Back in March, we announced that Pinsky have decided to break up, set to play their final show on July 28th. Well, they decided to record one last EP with Brian McTernan that will release on July 24, 2012. The band will also be recording some acoustic versions of songs from each release, starting with "What We're Doing" from 2008's Two For the Road, which can be seen in the replies.

After much consideration we have decided to make these upcoming Abigail Williams shows our last US tour. This was a very hard decision to make but feels absolutely necessary at this point.
