Man Overboard vocalist/guitarist Zac Eisenstein has a new solo project called Farpoint. His debut EP, Think About the Future, is available for stream on Lost Tape Collective, where you can also purchase physical and digital copies.
You can stream a new Seahaven song titled "Love To Burn" at Impose. It's one of my favorite songs off the band's stunning new album, Reverie Lagoon: Music For Escapism Only, which hits stores on March 25th.
Why Bother?, the solo project of The Wonder Years' Nick Steinborn, have released a new song called "Still Not That Great." It's in the replies. His latest EP, This Isn't Very Good, is being sold at TWY merch table on tour.
Head to the replies to hear the last track, which is titled "Flaws", from Vancouver Sleep Clinic's forthcoming Winter EP. The 17 year old artist form Australia is heavily influenced by Bon Iver and Sigur Růs, so fans of those should check out this artist.
Banquets and Nightmares For A Week will release a split 12" via Black Numbers on March 18. The split will have five new songs from each band, and you can listen to one song from each group via Noisey. It can be preordered here.
Boston-based Somos is streaming "Domestic" from their debut LP, Temple of Plenty, at The AV Club. The band plays a sort of emo-tinged powerpop, but the musicianship has a punk backbone and it's catchy as all hell. Their first single, "Dead Wrong," reminded some users of Name Taken. So listen to that song if that sounds like something you'd enjoy, and if you like it you can preorder Temple of Plentyfrom Tiny Engines.
