Going to a show but not familiar with an artist's catalog? A new web app called "Set Listener" will create a Spotify playlist for you of an artist's most recent show's setlist.
To use The Set Listener just type in the artist name, and hit the search button, you’ll be presented with a playlist of songs from that artist’s most recent show. Hit the ‘Save this playlist to Spotify’ button and you’ll have a Spotify playlist that you can listen to on your desktop or on your mobile phone.

T-Mobile has introduced a new initiative called "Music Freedom" which will allow a handful of music services to bypass the carrier's monthly data allowances. It's an interesting idea, and one probably exciting to music fans, but as pointed out by The Verge this sets a dangerous precident:
The list of Music Freedom-compatible services currently includes Pandora, Rhapsody, iHeartRadio, iTunes Radio, Slacker, Spotify, Samsung's Milk, and the forthcoming streaming service from electronic music destination Beatport.
