At Yellowcard's show in Fargo this past Sunday, Ryan Key said that whatever they do for Ocean Avenue's 10th anniversary would be "much more than a tour." Any ideas what they could be up to? Maybe a 10th anniversary re-release?
Edit: The chat is now over. Thanks a lot to the band for spending over an hour answering questions. Be sure to check out Southern Air tomorrow and Yellowcard's tour this fall with The Wonder Years and We Are The In Crowd.
Yellowcard will be chatting in this thread at 1pm (PST) today. They'll have blue names and you can join them by heading to the replies and posting questions, comments, etc. The band's great new album, Southern Air, hits stores tomorrow. Make sure you've pre-ordered on iTunes as I'd love to see these guys hit the top 10. Also, don't forget they're heading out on tour soon - so, you can check out all the dates and get tickets, here.
Just wanted to remind everyone that Yellowcard will be chatting on the website today at 1pm (PST). There will be a thread on the homepage around that time where you can talk with the band about their awesome new album, Southern Air, which comes out tomorrow.
I'm going to be sitting down with Ryan from Yellowcard shortly to talk about the new album and all that -- I also wanna include some questions from you guys, so if you've got anything you want me to ask -- drop a note in the replies.
We are happy to announce that our friends Yellowcard will be chatting here on the website on August 13th at 1pm PST. Stop by to hang out in a thread (it'll be here on the homepage) and ask them about their new album, Southern Air, their upcoming tour, and anything else you can think of.
Check out Yellowcard's first single from Southern Air, titled "Here I Am Alive," here. It features Tay Jardine from We Are The In Crowd on it, and this is the song that Patrick Stump had a hand in writing. The phenomenal record comes out August 14.
There's a video interview with Yellowcard's Ryan Mendez in the replies, where he teases a fall tour. He says the opening bands are already locked in, but doesn't say who they are. Who do you want to see Yellowcard hit the road with in support of Southern Air?
