For the next week we will be donating all proceeds from our bandcamp page to Long Island Food Not...

Bon Iver may be taking a extended break in the future.
Justin VernonWinding it down. I look at it like a faucet. I have to turn it off and walk away from it because so much of how that music comes together is subconscious or discovering. There’s so much attention on the band, it can be distracting at times. I really feel the need to walk away from it while I still care about it. And then if I come back to it – if at all – I'll feel better about it and be renewed or something to do that.

It seems that Prefix Mag can't afford to pay its music writers.
QuoteMany professional writers have smarted at the concept, laying into Prefix on Twitter. They claim that the mag has no respect for journalists and should be ashamed to ask working professional to write (basically) for free. Is this exploitation or just another form of exposure? Would you write a shamelessly hypocritical blog posts for two bucks and an author page?
