Call it whatever you will. The body is just a vessel for the soul that dwells within. I feel as though He Is We has been this body for me. This body has helped me grow and learn so much about this world we live in. But like other bodies, this one has began to die. It has become unhealthy and detrimental to my passion. I have been fighting to keep the name and stick it out. Through this, I have lost my drive to write. I have been hindered and in a constant battle with myself. But today it hit me.

Evergreen Terrace guitarist Josh James has left the band to continue playing full-time with Stick To Your Guns.

Statement

In 1999, a few friends and I started Evergreen Terrace. The band has been a huge part of my life, but it's time for me to move on. Earlier this year, I joined Stick To Your Guns, and I couldn't be more stoked. It's been a natural and exciting progression for me. I really believe in the band and the message. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and Evergreen throughout the years. I'm leaving with some great memories. I wish ET the best of luck and hope to see you all at a STYG show.

Jamie's Elsewhere frontman Aaron Pauley has left the band. He is currently playing bass and providing clean vocals for Of Mice & Men, although it is unknown if he is a permanent member.

Band Statement

As many of you know Aaron is on tour with our buds in Of Mice & Men. The rumors are true Aaron has decided to leave Jamie's Elsewhere to pursue other things. Aaron is still a friend and has left on good terms. We support Aaron in what ever he choses to do. As for us we will still be recording with Nick Sampson this August and plan to release our new album December 2012 followed by a full US tour and a few international tours. We will be announcing our new vocalist along with a new single...

New Close Your Eyes vocalist Mikey Sawyer stated via his personal Facebook he would not be at tomorrow's Scream The Prayer date, and that guitarist Brett Callaway will perform vocals for the remainder of the tour. "More info soon."

Slipknot guitarist Jim Root will miss a portion of the band's headlining run on the Mayhem Festival due to a burst appendix.

Statement

We're sorry to announce that our brother, Jim Root, will not be performing with us at Mayhem today in San Bernardino due to serious health issues. Jim has been seriously sick for the past two weeks and went to the hospital last week where he was advised that his appendix burst a couple weeks before and that it could have been life threatening. Jim is at home recovering and is awaiting surgery to have pieces of his appendix removed and hopes to join the tour as soon as he is able. No one knows what we’re looking for, because we haven’t released anything to show the direction we’re headed and where we are at, and therefore we receive more submissions from people trying to sound like Jonny than people being confident in their originality.
