In a new interview with Billboard, D'Angelo's manager Kevin Liles said a new album is "definitely" coming in 2014 and that D'Angelo will be going on tour in the fall. This will be his first studio album since 2000's Voodoo.

Following in the footsteps of that 3D-printed record we saw earlier this year, Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke will collaborate with vocalist Bobbie Gordon to record a single for charity that will be "pressed" onto 3D-printed records. This will happen at a pop-up shop in London this December. Check out more info here.
It hasn’t taken long, but here we are, staring down the barrel of the first ever commercially released 3D printed record. Earlier this year researcher Amanda Ghassaei sent a series of (somewhat distorted) shockwaves around the music industry when she posted instructions and prototypes of the first ever 3D printed record onto the open source blog Instructables.
Adelitas Way will release their third album, Stuck, on July 29th. The band worked with Nick Raskulinecz (Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, and Queens of the Stone Age). Joey Cape's One Week Records officially launches today with two solo releases: Chris Cresswell, singer of The Flatliners, and a solo album from Brian Wahlstrom of Scorpios. This label/project is really cool, the idea is Joey brings the artist to his house for seven days, they record an album, they draw an album cover, they upload the files to the One Week website, and it's all available for five bucks.
The Attack will release their multi-language EP, Under The Gun, on June 13th. By enlisting friends and fans from all over the world to help with the translations, the band will be releasing five versions of the new EP, each with a lead track in a foreign language, and available through iTunes in all the territories where the foreign language featured on the track is spoken - example, Spanish version will be available in Spain as well as South America. Including tracks sung in Italian, German, English, Spanish and French, the band recruited help for languages, sent the music and transcribed lyrics, and then received a written translation and a voice recording for pronunciation purposes....
