Mark Hoppus recently spoke to NME about Blink 182's future plans for recording a new album, sessions and touring.
From The Interview"Early next week I go back to Los Angeles to record an iTunes session for Blink-182, and we're starting to write the new record right now". As you probably realized with Green Day announcing their own tour this morning, The speculated Pop Disaster Tour won't be happening. With that being said, Mark is up for the tour if they could make it happen. And if Blink's big news wasn't that, what do you think it is?
From MarkAt this time there is no truth to that rumor, However, that tour was one of the best times we’ve had on the road. Good idea! Let’s make it happen. Pop Disaster 2.0! Somebody call somebody else and tell me when to be ready for the first show.

We recently told you that Blink 182 might be touring in Australia in February with a fill in drummer. Now, Travis Barker says he is considering getting knocked out to take the flight.
QuoteI’m contemplating getting knocked out and getting on a plane to Australia. I want to overcome that eventually. When I do, I think it’s going to be Qantas. They never had a crash, never had a fatality — knock on wood. It’s something I want to overcome for me — and my kids are scared to death to fly. I want them to witness me overcome it.
