You Me at Six will be postponing their North American tour.
Following more than a year of straight touring, Josh is suffering from vocal exhaustion and is under doctor’s orders to rest his vocal cords for a minimum of 4-6 weeks. Matt, Max, Chris, Dan, and of course, Josh, are therefore sorry and disappointed to announce the unavoidable postponement of their upcoming North America Tour, which was due to start in LA on April 21st. Given Josh’s need for rest, the band is unable to perform at the high energy level for which they’re known.

ALL VIP & GA tickets for the tour will be valid for the rescheduled shows, which will now run from September 15th through October 20th. The new shows...

Tim Hirsh, writing for EDM.com, has written an article on why Outkast "flopped" at Coachella -- placing the blame on (you should have guessed) EDM.
We all like to party and dance around. But now a great deal of people that come out to festivals have an expectation of immediately accessible music. You could have wandered into Dillon Francis’s Coachella set without knowing a single song and absolutely loved it. EDM, in a live setting, has a way of being instantly entertaining – and here’s the kicker – in a way lyrical, 90s-style hip hop really has no chance at matching. When you’re accustomed to thousands of perfectly synced strobe lights and the energy-building peaks and valleys of a...

I guess it's a big deal or a "scandal" or something in the blogosphere that some celebrities are being paid to go to Coachella and hang out this year. I'll continue not caring at all and being jealous no one pays me to show up places. Hey, McDonalds: I mouse over your banner ad at least once a day and blow my ear drums out -- a few free passes, yeah?
The Coachella music festival in California kicks off Friday, and while tickets are selling for hundreds of dollars online, Confidenti@l has learned how much celebs are being paid to attend the event. Lea Michele will earn a cool $20,000 from Lacoste to wear its clothes while she rocks out to headliners OutKast, Muse and Arcade Fire, while...
