We posted about Monsters Calling Home performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live the other day, but the band didn't know they were going to play Kimmel. The band thought they were performing for a couple hundred Honda executives to find out their gig was canceled and they were getting a chance to play on Kimmel. You can watch the moving video as well as their performance of "Fight To Keep" in the replies.

Frank Ocean will be the musical guest for Saturday Night Live's 38th season premiere on September 15th. Mumford & Sons and Muse will be the musical guests on September 22nd and October 6th, respectively.

The Decemberists shall have a cameo on an episode of The Simpsons called "The Day The Earth Stood Still." Colin Meloy revealed the news through a tweet. The episode will air December 2nd at 8pm EST on Fox.
