The Swellers are hitting the road this fall on “The Light Under Closed Doors Tour” in support of the band's new record coming out on October 29th. This isn't your typical tour as the band will be bringing it straight to the fans with a mix of clubs, house parties, pizza parlors, skate rinks and various other assorted intimate venues that kicks off in Chicago on October 18th and ends in Grand Rapids on November 29th. When I parted ways with Against Me! I kind of started working all day and when I’d come home my whole goal was to not just become a sloth and play video games or stuff like that. I wanted to be a good father and partner and just be creative whenever I could. And that’s what I did, I just started focusing and using my spare time to record.
Even though letlive. released its intense new album, The Blackest Beautiful, back in July, the band didn't get to properly celebrate it because they were on Warped Tour all summer. But that will all change soon, as the band will be throwing its record release show tomorrow (9/4) at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.
