Updating our previous post projecting sales numbers of Sleeping With Sirens' new album, Feel, the final numbers have come in and the album sold 59,000 units in its debut week. That was good enough to place it at No. 3 on the Billboard charts, behind Queens of the Stone Age's debut week and Daft Punk's strong second week of Random Access Memories. The debut marks the band's best sales week and Rise Records' highest debut total ever. Congrats to the band and their entire team!
Coming in at No. 3 is a new arrival from rock act “Sleeping With Sirens,” which scores its best sales week and highest-charting album ever with “Feel.” The album debuts with 59,000 sold. Twenty-seven percent of the...

Billboard is reporting that Sleeping With Sirens will sell around 60,000 units of Feel in its first week on the charts, which will be second to Queens of the Stone Age (projected 80K) for debut albums in the week ending June 9. That number should be good enough to land Sleeping With Sirens in the top three on the Billboard 200 (competing with Daft Punk for the No. 2 slot). This would be the highest sales week of the band's career and, impressively, Rise Records' highest-selling debut.
Yelling out lyrics like “I’m finding new ways to burn” during “Disassemble” and being able to hear one of my favorite lines of last blasted in my ears as Carroll yelled, “You can click your heels until you wear holes in the floor / And realize that no place feels like home anymore” on the penultimate “Stay In The Sun”…these are moments you don’t forget. This is why live music is so incredible. This is why you need to see this band live, as it makes you appreciate their records even more – if you can even believe that.
Forming in Reno, NV in January 1980, 7 Seconds was the originator of the West Coast Hardcore sound that influenced just about every hardcore band including; Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits and modern day bands like Title Fight and American Nightmare. It is safe to say the band helped start the “Youth Crew” sound. Releasing an EP called “Walk Together, Rock Together” in 1985 officially put them on the map. Their positive lyrical content influenced so many youths over the years and they weren’t afraid to push the envelope.
Redesigned and remastered for a vinyl only release, this record will only be made available as a pre-order and will only be pressed according to the amount of records pre-ordered over the course of one month. No copies for retail outlets, no digital download version, and certainly no CD version. Love it or hate it, here it is. Be warned!

Basically, I grew up in a "box"...I grew up as a Christian. And it wasn't until I went out into the real world and saw the gimmick and the manipulation and a lot of things behind Christianity and religion in general. I guess going out into the real world and seeing what would be coined as awful. Sometimes you need to go places to understand what they're all about, and it's so easy to stay inside of a comfort box and keep yourself safe; when you're out in the real world and...

Rise is great. I mean, we've had them do more for us in the one year we've been signed to them than the other labels have done in the other 6 years we've been signed. They're really personable, they're literally a phone call away, as opposed to going through all these different channels just to talk to your own record label. They treat us like human beings, you know?
