Crime in Stereo have posted a somewhat lengthy update regarding the writing and recording of their new material, issues with Spotify, the loss of a friend to cancer and a benefit with Vinnie Caruana and Hostage Calm on their Facebook page.
Firstly, we kinda, sorta, half-heartedly apologize for not being more forthcoming with updates and news and buzzy type goings on. The truth is, we're just not that internetly/socially connected. Which doesn't mean we're not up to anything...we are in fact working harder than ever on new material, planning new releases and shows, etc. We just aren't great at keeping you guys up to date on every little thing. Crime In Stereo and Bridge Nine Records have announced Selective Wreckage, Crime In Stereo's new album featuring ten previously unreleased songs. It is meant to be a showcase of how the band evolved from 2006's The Troubled Stateside to 2007's CRIME IN STEREO IS DEAD. Crime In Stereo bassist Mike Musilli has decided to leave the band to pursue a career in teaching. It was an amicable departure, as the band wishes him the best in future endeavors. The band will not be breaking up; they already have a replacement.
