Every Word Handwritten follows the lifespan of one vinyl record, highlighting it as the thread through many people's lives through decades to come. To encompass the full understanding of the film, Horowitz and Slack employed the help of Gaslight guitarist Alex Rosamilia and friend Wes Kleinknecht to compose the score for Every Word Handwritten.

The earnest, passionate New Brunswick punk rock band will play Asbury Park on May 25 and 26 — the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. The Hold Steady, the acclaimed Brooklyn outfit led by the witty, empathetic storyteller Craig Finn, opens the first show. The Felice Brothers, a folk-rock band with a bottle-swinging sound that anticipated Mumford and Sons, will support Gaslight at the second. Tickets for both shows go on sale through the Stone Pony on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Brian Fallon has been working on a new solo album as well as new Gaslight Anthem tracks. He expects to make his solo record this year while The Gaslight Anthem takes a break from touring.

The Gaslight Anthem have released a charity poster created with El Jefe Design specifically to help victims of Hurricane Sandy in the band's home state of New Jersey. 100% of the proceeds will be split equally between Rebuild Recover and Architecture For Humanity's 'Rebuild Seaside Pier' effort.
