When I was younger I did. I was like, “Oh. Wow. Some people are harsh.” I’m really excited for this whole album to come out because we released one song out of sixteen and that one song – of course there are going to be people that compare me to my dad and to Green Day. Yeah, our influences include Green Day. It makes sense; I grew up listening to my dad. So I grew up listening to the same stuff he listened to. Last week, PropertyOfZack, along with Big Footprints and Lame-O Records, released a 75-band comp for charity for a minimum of $5. For the next week, donations to this comp will go towards victims of the Boston terrorism attack that occurred yesterday for the next week. It can be downloaded here.

Actually. I say yeah, we’re going to take some time off, but what will happen every single time we say we’re going to take some time off, is another tour comes along. We love touring so much that we end up taking it. Jesse and I, actually in the last two days, have been working on a new song. When we just had a couple of weeks off, Chris was working on some songs. So we’ve actually already started working on new music, we just figured we’d go ahead and get a jump start on it...

If that headline seems a little hefty, that's because it is. PropertyOfZack has an interview up with Jonny Craig today where they discuss Craig's sobriety, why he tried out for The Voice, and the fact that some fans who he ripped off in the MacBook scandal still support him. Great job, fans.
You’ve had your ups and downs. Do you feel like you have to build things back up?
I definitely have ride or die fans that still love me. Even people that got ripped off. There are a couple people I ripped off in the Macbook thing, and they still tweet at me all the time. Some of them donated to my campaign.
We have an EP coming out on Equal Vision Records soon. It’s like three songs. He’s happy and I’m really happy with it. When we started playing together again, it came about by me sending him demo songs. Since I’ve been home I’ve just been in the basement writing music. Ideas just keep pouring out. Some of them don’t sound Reggie enough to be Reggie, so I’d send them to Matt. He’d send them back with vocals that would blow me away.
