The Early November just kicked off its tour with The Wonder Years, The Swellers and Young Statues. We were lucky enough to have our photographer friend, Dana Burke, attend the first show of the tour at Irving Plaza in New York City on Wednesday night. She managed to get some photos of each band, so you can head to the replies to check out a few selections and you can see all of the photos here.
MxPx have posted their cover of the Descendents’ “Suburban Home” from their new record, On The Cover II, on myspace. As a compliment we've posted two more exclusive promo photos of the band impersonating the Descendents (here) and The Go-Gos (here). Check back next Monday - as MxPx posts a new cover song, we'll post new impersonation pictures.
MxPx will be posting their cover of "Punk Rock Girl" by the Dead Milkmen from their new record, On The Cover II, on myspace today. In conjunction with the song, we've got an exclusive promo photo of the band impersonating the Dead Milkmen. Check back each Monday - as MxPx posts a new cover song, we'll post a new impersonation picture.
I took photographs at this past weekend's Vegoose Festival in Las Vegas and just posted the pictures on our Buzznet page, including ones of Muse, Rage Against The Machine, Daft Punk, The Shins, M.I.A. and Iggy & The Stooges. You can find a couple of pictures in the replies and then view the rest there.
Our very own Jon Lally has posted photos on our buzznet page from his adventures at Lollapalooza this past weekend, including several pictures of him with the ladies (Regina Spektor counting as one of them).
Snapshot Assassins took the time to post some photos from Bamboozle 2006. There currently aren't any images from the festival online to date, so they thought it would be a treat if we introduced them here at AbsolutePunk. Check them out here and here.
