By now, many of you have received your set, and you may be wondering why several of the records are mislabeled. It has been discovered that the records were mixed up at the manufacturing plant during production. We are looking into this issue and are working diligently to understand how this mix-up occurred. Remember the Death Cab For CutieThe Barsuk Years LP boxset you could have pre-order last winter? Well, after numerous delays, the sets have started to arrive at people's door steps. Sounds great, right? Well, it seems like more than half of the records in the set were mislabeled. Yikes. While no information or statement from Artist in Residence about the mishap has come forward yet, we'll be sure to update you on the situation when we can.
The Postal Service will re-release, Give Up for it's 10th anniversary on April 9th, 2013 via Sub Pop Records. The re-release will feature two never before released songs.
Update: According to Billboard, The Postal Service will play Coachella this year and will reissue Give Up (it's the 10-year anniversary) via Sub Pop. They are looking to add more tour dates this year as well. - TN
