TGL (Lobster/Oort Records) is ending their 6 year career on April 18th with a free hometown show in Greencastle, IN at DePauw University at 8:00 P.M. A full explanation from the band can be read on their myspace.
Stephen, Kris and Lyle of Lorene Drive have started a side project dubbed Primavera. The group has lined up some dates with Jack Mannequin and Emanuel, so go here to listen to the material online and for more details on their shows.
You can now purchase the new Lobster Records compilation, GEMS, on iTunes. The compilation is described thusly: "Fourteen Bands, Fourteen Tracks - Unreleased rarities revealed for the first time. This collection showcases valuable gems from the Lobster Records vault. Great new songs from talented young musicians. Crystals of modern rock." Anchors For Arms and BRP will be releasing a split EP sometime in the near future. The EP will contain Anchors For Arms' newest demos entitled "C'mon Let's Go Break Their Arms," "Machines," and "Come Together." The first two demos can be streamed at their pureVOLUME page.
It looks like Lobster Records' newest signing, Anchors For Arms, will be recording their debut full length in August. A Producer has yet to be determined but, for now, check out 2 demos that will make the cut at their pureVOLUME.com site.
First To Leave will be touring the west coast this spring. Also, the bands full length album, Change Never Lasts, will be released in a few weeks through Straight On Records. Then in summer, the band will head into the studio to record their Lobster Records debut.
