18 year old Derry, Northern Ireland artist SOAK has signed to Rough Trade and will release her debut solo album next year. In the meantime you should check out her new single "B a noBody" and the b-side "Shuvels" in the replies, especially if you're a fan of Beach House, Lykke Li or Laura Marling. This is almost certainly an artist to look out for over the next 12 months.
Cancer Bats signed with New Damage Records and will release a new record called Searching For Zero on March 10th. A lyric video for a new song called "Arsenic in the Year of the Snake" can be found in the replies.

Johnny Foreigner have officially invaded the US. The band has signed to Lame-O Records. To introduce themselves to Americans with what the band has done, they have compiled a "greatest hits" mixtape entitled, Worse Things Happen At Sea, to catch everyone up. Columbia Records, the Sony Music subsidiary run by chairman Rob Stringer, has signed the twosome, a rep for the label confirms, marking She & Him's exit from independent label Merge Records. A new album is expected in the fall.
According to sources, Stefani, 44, and No Doubt, the band she fronts, were being courted by multiple managers before inking with Azoff. The singer and No Doubt recently parted ways with Jim Guerinot's Rebel Waltz Management, their manager since 1998. Azoff's other clients include the Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Steely Dan, Van Halen, Chelsea Handler, and Cassadee Pope, in addition to the many comics signed with Levity.
