We reported earlier a rumor that Drive Like Jehu might be playing The Fest this year. They are not doing that. A statement from Fest organizer Tony Weinbender is below.
Drive Like Jehu is not playing Fest 12 and whoever started this blatant in official rumor is on my shit list! I had to squash all this after enjoying a wonderful day of a much needed vacation in the rain forest! Thanks for cause a mess of problems whoever you are!
It seems as though Drive Like Jehu will be playing a reunion set at The Fest this year. Check out a teaser image in the replies. We have reached out to Fest for official confirmation, so we'll update this post with news if we hear anything. Just saying, this would come alongside a Knapsack appearance as well. Yesterday we reported that The Replacements would be headlining all three Riot Fest shows this year. Well in addition to that, lineups were announced for both the Denver and Toronto dates of the festival. Head to the replies to check them out and pick up tickets here.
That's right people, The Replacements are headlining the Chicago, Toronto and Denver Riot Fest lineups. The shows are the band's first performances in 22 years.

Queens of the Stone Age have announced a North American tour for September and October in addition to its summer festival slots and European dates. You can check out the fall dates in the replies.
A batch of 30 bands has been added to this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals. The acts unveiled this morning included Chuck Ragan, Don Broco and Off With Their Heads. Scroll down for the full announcement and for a peek at the line-up so far.
We're a little behind on this news post, but The Fest 12 added more bands to its lineup last week. The most noteworthy of the additions is Knapsack, who will play a reunion set. Other additions include Teenage Bottlerocket, Bridge and Tunnel, The Swellers, Sainthood Reps, Drug Church and more.
