Morrissey will be releasing the Live In L.A. DVD.
Eagle Vision will release "Live in L.A.," a concert film of his March 2 performance at Hollywood High. His night in the unexpected venue featured a monologue from Russell Brand and hits including "Everyday is Like Sunday" and Smiths classics such as "Meat is Murder" and "Please, Please Please Let Me Get What I Want."

Morrissey has canceled more shows due to illness.
The remaining dates of the Morrissey U.S. North American tour have officially been pulled down due to medical reasons. The singer has suffered a series of medical mishaps over the past few months including a bleeding ulcer, Barrett’s esophagus and double pneumonia. Despite his best efforts to try to continue touring, Morrissey has to take a hiatus and will not be able to continue on the rest of the tour. Morrissey thanks all of his fans for their well wishes and thoughts. Refunds for the remaining shows are available at point of purchase.

Jimmy Kimmel has invited Morrissey back on his show. As one of the biggest Moz fans around, even I can say that Kimmel has been the one to come out looking good through all this - while the King of Mope looks like a petulant child.
"I'd like to invite him to join the show to discuss," Kimmel said. "I'm an open, even-handed person, and I consider all points of view... If I keep saying it, maybe it will be true. I've invited him to talk this out, and perhaps we will both be better men for it, but probably not."

Morrissey has issued a statement regarding what Jimmy Kimmel said last night during Jimmy Kimmel Live.
I was disappointed with last night's Jimmy Kimmel Show wherein our smiling host managed to ridicule depression (70% of Americans have experienced depression according to the National Institute of Mental Health). He then found time to ridicule healthy eating (the obesity epidemic in the U.S. costs $147 billion per year in medical expenditure), and he also ridiculed the notion that animals should be entitled to the possession of their own lives. Furthermore, he found time to jokingly promote gun-ownership - hugely amusing for the parents at Sandy Hook, no doubt. He also promoted his...

Morrissey, always the quotable, was recently interviewed.
A group like the Sex Pistols would never again be allowed to slip through, and there is no such thing in 2013 as a popular artist who sets their own terms for success. Whether it be Beyoncé or Justin Bieber, we see singers who have absolutely nothing to offer anyone as they walk offstage clutching three Grammys in each hand.

Morrissey was supposed to play "Jimmy Kimmel Live" tomorrow night. Also appearing on the show: the cast of the A&E duck hunting-based reality show "Duck Dynasty." You know how this is going to end, right? Morrissey says he won't play unless they boot the duck-hunters. Kimmel has replaced Morrissey with Churchill.
Morrissey is thankful for being invited to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow, February 26. However, he cannot morally be on a television program where the cast members of Duck Dynasty will also be guests. Morrissey would be honored to play the show, if Duck Dynasty were removed. Morrissey stated, "As far as my reputation is concerned, I can't take the risk of being on a...

The interview of Morrissey by Colbert is ridiculously awesome. Morrissey is not amused by such shenanigans.

Yeah, that whole The Smiths' reunion thing was definitely bullshit. Morrissey's publicist responded that it would NEVER happen. Fuck.
Jason Tate on 10/02/12 - 09:19 AM
Lots of rumors going around about a The Smiths reunion this morning, all started by a story on Holy Moly. Uh, yeah, still calling bullshit on this one. Although, I'd love to be proved wrong.
