Super Snake, the new side project of Trophy Scars frontman Jerry Jones, have released their debut EP, Summer Girls. Downnload it for free here. The band plans to release an EP for each season of the year.
Trophy Scars frontman Jerry Jones has formed a new side project called Super Snake with members of I Am Heresy and Chambers. Listen to a clip in the replies. More music is expected to surface next month.
Trophy Scars' Alphabet. Alphabets. will be released on vinyl for the first time ever on Tuesday, March 13th at 5pm EST via Simply Legendary Records. The label was started by AP.net's own Alex DiVincenzo. The pressing is limited to 500 copies; 400 on white and 100 on white with blue splatter with a special poster and letter from the band.
Trophy Scars will perform Alphabet. Alphabets. in its entirety on March 10 at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ to celebrate the album's release on vinyl. Tickets can be purchased here, and information on the vinyl will be announced soon.
Trophy Scars have formed a label called The Same Ghost Collective. Its first release will be the debut EP by Washington's Trickster Fox, The Misadventures Of, Vol. I. Trophy Scars have posted an unmastered track, "Botanicas" from their forthcoming full length, Bad Luck, on myspace. A release date for the album is tentative as the band are currently in search of a new label.
According to this blog, Trophy Scars will be going on hiatus. No word on what will happen with Bad Luck, which was set to be released this year. You can see the entire message from the band in the replies.
Trophy Scars are in the process of re-demoing songs and finishing new ones for Bad Luck. The band has started randomly posting demos, but only in 12-hour intervals. The first of these, "The Cowboy Red," can be heard on the band's myspace.
Trophy Scars have been forced to cancel the remainder of their forthcoming tour dates, citing disreputable actions, namely those of local promoters, as cause for the retraction. The group will commence touring in support of its latest effort, Alphabet. Alphabets, this October, which is available now via The Death Scene.
