hi! thanks for being a long time fan of the music. of course we want to come to brazil, we’re always mentioning it when we talk about touring. just need to release the rest of our music and then get it in the works. we plan to do a crowd funding campaign for our full length and extra money will get us down to brazil for sure
Devin Ingelido, a former member of VersaEmerge, has posted a blog calling out ... well, basically everyone. The full thing is in the replies.
Finally, we met with the owner of Fueled by Ramen, had dinner with him and was convinced that label was the right fit. This is where there is much speculation. I can tell you that I feel signing with fueled by was such a mistake. A 360 deal doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing if the band is going to be pushed. The more money the label makes, the more the band makes. Except the label has a hand in every pot.
I feel the band was signed to not create competition for Paramore.
Versa will release the EP, Neon, on January 14th. All of the songs recorded last year for the album that never came out -- will be released eventually.
Most of the songs intended to be released on an album we planned to call Another Atmosphere will still be released but in a systematic fashion... Including the intended title track, 'Another Atmosphere'.
VersaEmerge will release their first EP, Perceptions, on vinyl - more info to come Sunday night. The band also released another statement about their name change to VERSA, stating they'll release their debut single "shortly."
Update: Blake from the band has posted a statement.
As some of you have already noticed, our record label Fueled By Ramen has moved us into the Alumni section of their roster. It is true that we will no longer be a part of FBR, as we’ve decided to split ways. We’re extremely grateful to everyone over at FBR and want to thank them for all of the amazing work and time they’ve put into helping develop our band over the years. There is still new music on the way, although we wont be releasing anything until all business stuff is fully sorted. Thank you for always supporting us and being...
In a new interview, Sierra Kusterbeck of VersaEmerge says that the band will be writing a new album this summer and hope to have it released in early-2012. She also discusses her experiences on the AP Tour.
