Red Scare Industries will be releasing a 10-year compilation featuring 17 new songs from bands on the label. It will be out digitally on September 9th and physically on September 23rd according to Punknews.
Our friends over at PunkNews.org are streaming a new tribute EP that features Lawnmower and others covering songs by punk legends The Replacements. Check it out in the replies. As the self-proclaimed biggest Replacements fanatic on staff I'd say they definitely do these tunes justice. You can purchase the EP or pre-order it on vinyl via Save Your Generation Records here.
You can watch Red City Radio's new video for "Two Notes Shy Of An Octave" at Punknews.org and in the replies. It's off the band's upcoming record, Titles, which hits stores on October 15th and can be pre-ordered via Paper + Plastick.
We are filming this entire year to try and cut it down into an hour long Home DVD and the first guy that emailed me about buying that van was like "I only have $1,500 cash, but I have all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" figurines in their original boxes, including Master Splinter and and Eagles Tour shirt from the '70s." That was our first offer for the van and I think we are actually going to take it because we have to film that. What kind of guy is going to trade Ninja Turtles for a van?
I am angry all the time. It is not an anger that manifests itself in destruction of property, and I am not looking for a fight, but if you have a sense of right and wrong, and your head is pulled out, there is a lot to be angry about. If you think everything is ok, then to me you're ok with everything, from marriage inequality to people trying to vote down the Violence Against Women Act. You can't let these cowards get away with this stuff.
