Less Than Jake's Vinnie ranked the band's albums over at Noisey. Looking this over just reminded me of how good this band's catalog is.
That was our first record for Warner Brothers and we did what we wanted to do. Not only did we record Anthem at the time, but we also tracked B Is for B-sides, another full record. As far as writing songs go, it was the most fertile time for the band. Not to sound cliché but we were living the dream.

Tracks for the new Less Than Jake album have left my hands and are off to Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore for the final mix at the Blasting Room… and my main man Stephen Egerton is doing a few tracks as well. The Moathouse worked near flawlessly, and I'm excited to hear the results!!"
It’s not a secret that we have been not releasing any full length records, I loved the quickness of writing and recording the EP format, you can dance around [different] styles .Anyway, being able to cut songs and recording into chunks served our band well during the last few years, allowing us to equally concentrate on our anniversary and be at home with our new expanding families. Now, we have been writing new songs for a full length, a complete thought musically and lyrically.
Less Than Jake is taking over the Rock104.com "Locals Only" radio show tonight at 11 p.m. EDT. This year marks Less Than Jake's 20th anniversary as a band, but they still manage to surprise fans. The ska-punk heroes have released an unannounced EP today entitled Season's Greetings From Less Than Jake. It's a companion to last summer's surprise Greeting's From EP and has five new songs. We're streaming the second track, "Younger Lungs," on the band's AP.net Profile and in the replies. Check it out, and pick up a copy of the EP here if you like it. Less Than Jake drummer/lyricist Vinnie Fiorello has announced a new graphic novel called "The Phone Call." Fiorello wrote the graphic novel and began tweeting the text from it today. Paper + Plastick has launched a new comic series called "Perfect Teeth." It follows the career of a vampire band and how the music industry tries to keep pace by signing other monster bands. Members of Less Than Jake and the Descendents teamed up to record a song as the vampire band, which goes by the name Perfect Teeth, and the song will be released later this month.
