Today is our time to come clean and reveal that with great thought and heavy sadness, we as 5 individuals have decided to call time on our journey as Morning Parade.
This is not down to musical differences, nor is it down to interpersonal relationships or band disagreements. It comes down to the simple reality that at this current point, for us to continue any further would be to do so at the detriment of our friendship, our personal, emotional, mental and financial well being, as well our enjoyment of music and memories of our time as Morning Parade.
Morning Parade has given us some of our greatest memories, dream like experiences, hysterical laughter,...
Hey Guys, There’s no point in dancing around the subject, so we’ll cut right to the chase. We regret to announce that Wolves will be the final release by The Blackout. Unfortunately we have come to the conclusion we are unable to sustain this band anymore, and we feel the time is right to bring it to a close. This is the hardest decision we have ever had to make as a band, and although we do it with heavy hearts, we also do with our heads held high. We are all extremely proud of Wolves, and are eternallygrateful to each and every one of you who helped it get made. We said that it would not exist without your support, and we honestly mean...
After a long time of consideration, we wanted to let you know that anything new from K Será does not seem likely in the near future. We want to thank all of you for the giving us the chance to pursue our passion and create memories that will last as long as we live. We hope you continue to enjoy the music that we feel proud and lucky to have made.
Until we meet again friends, good luck & take care.
hello everyone and happy holidays. it's a stressful time for all of us, as a country and as humans. in light of America's most recent case of our failing justice system I feel that now would be as good a time as any to tell you that we are ending glocca morra.
my first draft of this post became too autobiographical and contrived. I wanted to talk about our history but it started to become a history lesson that even I got bored of writing.
this band was very important to me and definitely dictated my formative years. we haven't really done anything in the past two years save for two short tours with Owls and Joyce Manor. we just kind of stopped. but...
Hostage Calm has broken up. It’s too soon, it’s too young, and it hurts too much. All planned shows are canceled. We are still figuring out if and when there will be any final shows. I want to personally thank every one of you who supported us over the years. You shared so much more with us than you’ll ever know. From our music to our politics, you helped make a bunch of Wallingford kids’ foolish dreams a reality. It was the great privilege of our young lives. To all of you who’ve connected with us, who’ve grown with us, who’ve loved, changed, cried, lived with us - and to all of you who will yet - Just know that we loved what we did, and we could never have...
Crystal Castles have broken up, as singer Alice Glass decides to pursuit a solo career. Can we have a discussion on how incredible this duo has been, so I, you know, don't sit in the corner and weep for the rest of the day? Let's do it.
Family, friends and fans, We have decided that it is time to hang up our instruments and bring Harrison Hudson to an end. We want to thank so much our families and friends that supported our endeavors. We've so enjoyed creating music and sharing it with the world. Thanks to everyone from promoters to the fans that attended our shows.
probably a good time to address some information, as you probably couldve guessed/ or alot of you have just known from talking to us, the band is now inactive, we say inactive because when bands break up i think sometimes things tend to get corny and no band ever really officially seems to break up break up, to stop this from happening to us, we're just basically saying were inactive, incase the day shows up where we do get together to play a show. that being said i can pretty much guarantee that wont happen anytime soon. theres honestly no drama, we've been playing music together for the last 4 years, we started as teenagers and now were...
Guided By Voices has come to an end. With 4 years of great shows and six killer albums, it was a hell of a comeback run. The remaining shows in the next two months are unfortunately canceled. Our sincere apologies to those that have purchased tickets and made travel plans.
We will be doing one last record and close the final chapter of A Loss For Words journey at the end of 2015. We will announce more in detail the next few days as we gather our thoughts on how to even attempt to explain our love for this band and the support you have all given us. It's hard to show how grateful we truly are! Stay tuned. We plan on making 2015 the best year this bands ever seen!
We'd like to start this off with a thank you.
Thank you to our fans, friends, and family for the last 8 years.
After many ups and downs, good times and bad, it's time that Abandon All Ships comes to an end. There's no hard feelings or inner turmoil, it's just time that we all move on to the next chapter of our lives.
We'd also like to say thank you to Velocity/Rise Records, The Agency Group, Avocado Booking, Redfield Records, Go With Me Records, Underground Operations, and our management teams at Artery Foundation & Cloud Empire. Without you, this could have never happened.
We've launched a discount merch store for those who've wanted to...
On My Honor has been a band now for nearly 8 years. For some of us, On My Honor has been the majority of our adult lives. Since 2007, we’ve gotten to do a lot of great things. We’ve made music that we love, with people we love, we’ve gotten to meet a lot of you, and we’ve been able to see a lot of the world that we never thought we would.
When we really started getting going as a band, we always talked about how our main goal was to make other people feel how our favorite records made us feel. Although we’ve made some mistakes along the way, we did our best to keep sight of that goal. We hope that we did this for some of you. With that being said, we’ve...
On January 15, 2009, we met and soon after preformed our first show with just Lucas, Chad, and a laptop. Since then, the adventures and people we’ve met changed our lives forever. Without all of you we couldn’t have achieved any of our dreams as a band, a family of brothers. Just over five years later though, like all great things, our journey is coming to an end.
It wasn’t an easy decision by any means, and there is absolutely no bad blood between any of us. If anything we’re close than ever and we can’t wait to go out with a bang at our last show coming up in September. Look out for any announcements about that.
The future for I Call Fives will remain uncertain, but I can say certainly that we will never be in the position to tour like the band did for so many years. The opportunities that people gave us make it very hard to ever say it’s done forever. Unfortunately, the reality is that we’ve had to work jobs full-time, finish school, and do whatever it is we found best for the next chapter of our lives. It has been so hard to admit or write this for me because this band became all I knew, all I thought about, all I put myself into. We met so many bands, many that have grown to be very successful and are still doing it. So many people that let us...
To answer your many queries, the band has not "broken up," nothing so dramatic as that. We just aren't doing anything together and don't have any plans to for the foreseeable future. There's been no "falling out," no bad blood, we all just have different interests now and are involved in our own projects.
It is with sadness that we announce to the world that The Lonely Forest is going on an indefinite hiatus. We've been playing together for nearly a decade, released four full length records and played hundreds of shows. We've done many amazing things and met even more amazing people. The memories that we share with each other and our fans will never be forgotten.
To every fan who came to a show, wrote us a letter, baked us cookies, let us sleep on your floor, bought our records, wore our t-shirts and genuinely loved us: we give you our infinite thanks and gratitude.
Well, as far as I know, we played our last show in 2011 at the Coliseum, and if that was our last show, that's a good way to go out," he said. "I sort of had to put it in my head that that band is over in order for me to just move on with my life, to be honest with you, so that's kind of where that lies. The Coliseum — awesome way to go out.
It has been the most amazing 12 years, but the time has come for us to call it quits, and announce that we won't be an active band anymore. But before we go, we will be doing an abbreviated FINAL tour across nine Canadian cities this coming May. We will announce all the details next week. Also, we are going to release a special last album with some new songs & unreleased tracks...and a bunch more cool stuff to say thank-you. So get ready to hear from us a BUNCH starting now, and until the final tour in May. There are a lot of places we won't get to play again, and that sucks, but this short tour is all that we could make work with our...
The UK emo act Crash of Rhinos, who released the excellent and overlooked Knots last year, have broken up. Knots is still up for "name your price" on their bandcamp and a repress of the vinyl is currently available through Topshelf Records, so grab it and realize what you've been missing out on.
It is with with regret we have to tell you all that Crash is no more. We've had some incredible times. Some of the best times, met some of the best people, played with some of the best bands. Thank you to to anyone who bought Distal and/or Knots, shared them, came to see us live, bought a shirt, or gave us a place to stay. You're the people that really made it work whilst it worked.
Hello everyone. It is with much sadness to announce that The Seeking is no longer a band. Too many members decided to part ways and it left us with no choice but to call it quits. I know this happens all the time with bands and we were hoping to keep this band alive and continue making music we love but we just couldn't. We can't thank you guys enough whether it was buying our CD, merch or simply singing EVERY lyric to each song we played. You guys are literally the best and you all hold a special place in each of our hearts. The only way we can think of repaying you is coming back strong and writing music that relates to you more than anything and playing tons...
Life On Repeat will release their sophomore album, Blacklisted, on December 3 through Equal Vision Records. The new album will be the band’s final release together. To coincide with the release and their unfortunate disbanding, Life On Repeat will play four final farewell shows in December which can be found in the replies.
1. Karma Calls
2. The Creators (Light Inside)
4. Cut Open
5. This Conditioned Lie
9. The Conscious Collective
10. Sorriest Goodbye
After many long conversations and a lot of time to think, we as a collective unit have decided that it is time that we walk away from Conditions. At the turn of this year, we will have been a band for 8 years, and feel it’s at that point that we all consider what’s next for us individually. We are incredibly thankful for the experiences that we’ve had and being so lucky to have people like all of you believe in us so strongly. We want this to end on the highest note possible, because that’s where all of us are. We’re happy. We’re thankful for this band taking us all over the world and giving us so much, but we’re also excited...
After it was previously announced that the upcoming Moving Mountains shows would be their last (probably ever), today This Old Ghost also announced their demise. Check out a note from the band in the replies, as well as their last dates with Moving Mountains, Caravela and Field Mouse.
