Nick and Kevin of Hit The Lights will be chatting in this thread at 8pm EST to talk about the band's new album, signing to Pure Noise Records and anything else you can think to ask them. Be sure to swing in and come say hey.
Update: The chat is now over. We'd like to thank Nick and Kevin for coming on and having a good time with everyone. Be sure to catch them on the "Skip School, Start Fights" tour and stay posted for more album updates as they're released.
I was chatting with Nick of Hit The Lights about his new project Thief Club. He will be releasing a full length called My Heavy later this year. It was produced by Rob Freeman and features appearances from Will Pugh (Cartel), Shane Henderson (Valencia), and Colin Ross (original singer of Hit The Lights). Freeman produced Skip School, Start Fights, and from what I've heard so far, it seems like it will carry that vibe for this release.
Kevin Mahoney (Hit The Lights) is looking to record bands in the New York/New Jersey area. If you're interested in Kevin working with your band, send an email with demos and information about your band.
We're giving away another pair of tickets to see Hit The Lights' winter tour. Did you hear that Colin Ross would re-join the band for this tour? Questions are in the replies. Make sure you state which date you can attend. The first person to get the questions correct will win!
We're going to be holding polls over the next few weeks to see what you guys want to see Hit The Lights play on the group's December tour. Remember, Colin is joining the band for this run. Head here to vote on what songs you'd like to see the band play from This Is A Stick Up...Don't Make It A Murder.
Hit The Lights are welcoming back original singer Colin Ross for the band's upcoming December tour with A Loss For Words, With The Punches, and State Champs. Colin and Nick will split up vocal duties based on their work over the band's discography. This is Colin's first tour with the band since 2007.
