Jimmy Gregerson and Zach Johnson have left I See Stars.
I need to just clear the air since this continues to be awkward for me months after the fact and I just want it to be over with. I am no longer in I See Stars. I did not choose to leave, I was asked to leave. Why? I'm not really sure. I guess the rest of the guys felt they needed a change. I felt it was necessary to make this clear because as someone who was with I See Stars since day one I thought the fans deserved to know that I did not turn my back on them and walk away.

Bonfires have released their new EP and announce the departure of their lead singer. We discuss some of the insider baseball stuff surrounding this on this week's podcast.
After careful thought and a lot of internal conversation, our vocalist Zech Pluister will be stepping away from his role in Bonfires. This may come across as a sudden decision to our fans, but it’s an important decision for us to make, and we want to be as transparent as we can about it in order to keep the band moving on.

With that said, we recorded an EP called "The Way This Ends" over the summer. This development threw a wrench in our plans to release the record early next year, so, in cooperation with Bad...

We are sad to announce that John Cummings has decided to leave Mogwai to pursue his own musical projects.

We will continue as a four piece of Dominic Aitchison, Stuart Braithwaite, Martin Bulloch and Barry Burns and shall be joined on our upcoming live shows by Scott Paterson and Luke Sutherland.

We wish John all the best with the future.

I have decided to close my chapter in In Flames after finishing up this current tour. It has truly been a fantastic journey and I want to thank Anders, Björn, Peter, Jesper and Niclas from the bottom of my heart, for all great memories and experiences that we've shared during the last 17 years(!) together.

Hey guys, we are sad to say Aaron is no longer a part of the band. He has been an awesome member and an amazing friend, but we understand and respect his decision to be home with his family and start a new path. With that being said, we are very excited to announce his replacement, Wade Walters, who recorded our new album with us. Wade will be joining us on our tour with The Amity Affliction this fall and is very excited to meet all of you. We will be releasing a new song shortly along with more info on our new album. Ghost Town keyboardist Evan Pearce has left the band due to his health. The remaining members will continue as a three-piece. They're currently putting the finishing touches on their third album, due out in the fall.
Touring has always been difficult for me due to my health and I can no longer continue to tour at the pace demanded by the success of Ghost Town without it further affecting my wellbeing. Kevin, Alix and Manny have all been great and I hope we'll have the opportunity to collaborate again in the future. I would also like to thank all the Ghosts out there for your support.

Update: Heard from management that Greg has not "officially quit the band" but that he will not be performing with them live any longer but may play on future records. And that "they are a very loose collective that have members come and go so it's not really like he left the band as much as he won't be as active with them."

This is All Now have booted their bass player after allegations of sexual harassment of a 15 year old.
All of us here at This Is All Now have recently been made aware of the statements made about our bass player, Thomas Angenbroich via social media. Upon finding out about this information we privately addressed the situation immediately. Although it is difficult to determine fact from fiction or here-say from reality, we are taking this issue very seriously and have determined that the best course of action is for Tom to take a step back from This Is All Now. Our fans are everything to This Is All Now, and always will be. We are very grateful for all your support that has gotten us to...

The bassist of Lionfight went on a racist rant and was kicked out of the band. The band has released a statement:
Today an ex band member of lionfight decided on his own to say some really shocking and racist remarks on his personal page. Not only did he offend many, including the other band members, he set back the social clock greatly by his ignorant remarks. We say ex because we cannot have that mindset and mouthpiece be a representative of us personally or what we’ve worked so damn hard for. Bryan will no longer be playing music with us. We love him like a brother and we will always be there to pick him up when he falls but we cannot move forward with him being a part of this. He...

Samuel Penner has been asked to leave For Today. A statement from him is in the replies.
I was told that I was unequally yoked with the band because of my personal beliefs of how I should live my life after coming to know Jesus. For this reason, the band could no longer support me or walk with me on this path. (To be clear about this, for those who care, my personal belief is simply that a standard of living our lives after salvation has been set by God in the “Old Testament” law. Not for salvation but for living a life in service to God.)

Jonathan Wolfe has posted a far lengthier statement on his leaving Slaves on our website.
I was going to let this thread die out and not feed the fire, but a few friends sent me some screen caps of this thread as well as Lambgoat's new posting today, and feel as if I'm at the point where I need to defend my integrity and reputation. I had originally planned on keeping quiet and sticking to the story that I was fed but after constant harassment and belittling, I couldn't stand to keep quiet. I have to apologize in advanced to the wonderful people at Artery Foundation & Artery Records who assured me I was not in the wrong and helped me out of a sticky situation, I know this is bad press...

The best April Fools prank was the one where I filled in for Slaves for a week and then ended up getting ditched in Texas with no luggage and then had to pretend to go home to recover so they wouldn't get put on blast. Hahahahahahah oh wait, that was real.

To all of my friends and fans: I would like to let you know that Asking Alexandria and I are moving forward in separate ways. Over the last eight years together we’ve done some amazing things and created something truly special. I now, same as then, want what’s best for the band and at this point in time, that isn’t me. Asking Alexandria will continue to tour throughout the year and will be working on a new album. I will always support and love Asking Alexandria and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. I am excited for the next chapter of my life with We Are Harlot and will see you all on the road!

No Devotion has been an integral part of my daily life for the last two years. It comes with great sadness to announce that after the NYC show on October 28th 2014 I parted ways with No Devotion. So after 10 years, I’ve decided to resign as the drummer of Ten Foot Pole. I had a blast and want to thank Dennis Jagard for giving me the opportunity to rock for everyone. Also want to give thanks to Keith Divel, Chris Del Rio, Dan Kelly, and Scott Hallquist for being such a pleasure to jam with. It was time for me to give more attention to my other endeavors, and I wish TFP nothing but continued success in the future

Jon has been fired from Refused. Messages from the band and Jon are in the replies.
I was fired from Refused a while ago. I wasn’t given a reasonable explanation and wasn’t even invited to sit down and talk about it, so I'm not completely sure why they decided to go on without me. We’ve always been better at punk rock than democratic processes and dealing with conflicts, so I guess I’m not too surprised it went down like this.
