ABSOLUTExclusive: Ivoryline

Ivoryline return in full-force on July 27th, with the Aaron Sprinkle-produced Vessels. Stream "Made From Dust" exclusively on the band's AP.net Profile, and you'll instantly become as excited for this one as we are.

MattRM 07/06/10 12:14 PM

His voice sounds a lot higher on these new songs.

And oh, this is the last song on the album, apparently. I don't really like it when bands release the closing track to an album before the album itself... I've just always wanted to save the closing track until I'm actually at the end of the whole album.

ctmk 07/06/10 12:18 PM

more people should like these guys

aradiantsunrise 07/06/10 12:25 PM

So good. This album is going to rule.

HeadSock 07/06/10 12:41 PM

This song doesnt really get me excited for the album by itself. Im still excited for the album though because I loved their last one.

I find it interesting how aggressive his "b's" and "p's" are.

bkraniger 07/06/10 12:46 PM

I thought it was a girl singing when the track opened up..

Jake Jenkins 07/06/10 01:00 PM

Saw these guys open for The Classic Crime and immediately bought There Came A Lion and I'm stoked for this release.

AndrewCloer 07/06/10 01:03 PM

I dig this. Does anyone else hear a little Copeland in here?

the seventeenth 07/06/10 01:08 PM

Such a great band, they deserve more recognition. This has to be one of my favorite songs released this year.

Very much so in the stripped down falsetto sections.

You know, nevermind, I can actually see Marsh doing the whole song.

Sheluligans 07/06/10 01:15 PM

I dig.

Drew Beringer 07/06/10 01:17 PM

new album is fairly good!

Very true..Deas Vail could definitely be thrown in there too.

I wasn't expecting this. Consider me excited :-)

zachff 07/06/10 01:35 PM

Jason Vena .... whisper it

MikeJames 07/06/10 01:42 PM

Isn't the release date 7/27 and not 7/22?

jco3 07/06/10 01:45 PM

Vocal melody is great.

it kind of reminds me of Eisley.

PengusNiugnep 07/06/10 01:54 PM

This band never disappoints. Definitely looking forward to this.

djgreen 07/06/10 02:07 PM

I don't know what it is about these new songs, but I can't get into any of them. I liked their debut, but I just do not like their new stuff at all. Everyone else does though, so I feel weird. :-|

Kaku 07/06/10 02:17 PM

Just the appearance of Jason Vena should give them and their new album a boost. I mean Jason is almost a legend in the scene. ;)
And they are not that bad themselfs. I want this album so much right now. Still 3 weeks though.

Croggs 07/06/10 02:20 PM

I liked it, but I kept waiting for a hook that never came. Sounds like it could be a solid closing track.

henry chinaski 07/06/10 02:42 PM

i like all their new songs so far

it is the closing track.

tjm125 07/06/10 03:10 PM

Wow! Pretty damn good. Can't say I've really listened to them before, but will definitely check out their stuff now.

COREhorizon 07/06/10 03:26 PM

Hopefully it's a grower, cause I didn't feel this song at all.

Exactly what I thought whilst listening. Good song though.

bandnamexmyname 07/06/10 04:11 PM

Anything with Aaron Sprinkle is worth a listen and this record is no exception. Stoked

Same when I saw them open for Emery.

rushour144 07/06/10 04:15 PM

This cd is sooooo much better than their first! I love this band with a passion, but with this new album, I think they really found their niche!

birtcho 07/06/10 04:19 PM

Pretty good. I mightve liked it more if I wasn't listening to Angus and Julia before hand

A7XXX 07/06/10 04:28 PM

Awesome. I can't listen to this since I'm at work but so happy with all the comparisons that are being made. Excited to see them live at the end of July

phillipjacob 07/06/10 04:36 PM

wow im so impressed with his range and power of his voice

So much so it's scary, in a good way. These songs are making me a believer.

Croggs 07/06/10 05:02 PM

It's not that I didn't like it. I was just waiting for something more explosive and faster. It was just an expectation, and it didn't happen. I wasn't upset about it, I was just surprised they didn't transition into something heavier for the chorus. It's different than their older stuff, and that's awesome.

sao6sin 07/06/10 06:15 PM

Sounds like it has a strong Umbrellas influence too especially the vocals.

How does it compare to their debut?

trappedintime 07/06/10 06:42 PM

That was an amazing song! Gonna pick up Vessels first day out.

trevorshmevor 07/06/10 08:34 PM

Didn't really care for this, but this band is solid for the most part. I wonder if their singer can actually hit the notes he's recorded this time around though...

Jeff_Ryan 07/06/10 09:47 PM

not feeling it. after "Cities", aaron sprinkle has not been able to really wow me

Max_123 07/06/10 10:39 PM

very different from any of their other stuff, but i dig it
i can't wait for this album

Of A Machines 07/06/10 11:01 PM

Considering Deas Vail is a Copeland cover band, yeah I guess we could say so ;)

Ryzenfall 07/07/10 03:52 AM

Very different sound, but somehow I like it still.

But I feel like this is not the same band at all.

Spencer Control 07/07/10 07:22 AM

Dangit, the media player isn't working for me. Anybody know why, do I need to mess around with a firewall or cookies or something?

Ryan Gardner 07/07/10 12:25 PM

Definitely different, but nonetheless, fantastic track

icynova 07/07/10 03:44 PM

I miss Copeland...

But this CD should be stellar.

I wouldn't say that at all, but hopefully you were being sarcastic. At least you agree with me in a way haha
