ABSOLUTExclusive: I Am Empire
I Am Empire's second full-length, Kings, hits stores tomorrow, but you can stream the entire album on their AP.net profile. The release, marking the band's Tooth & Nail debut, brings to mind the likes of Anberlin (with whom the group co-wrote a track), Jimmy Eat World, Muse, and My Chemical Romance. Let us know what you think in the replies.

not a bad album, just can't really get into them. i have their last album too, but i'm hoping it clicks some day for me.
Haven't been able to get into this one :-|
meh. i never listened to these guys before about a week ago, was curious to check this out but i dont know if its clicking for me either.

Much better signing by T&N than any of their other recent ones. Decent release if you like catchy melodies and solos. If you stretch things a little you could potentially throw Letter Kills into the RIYL too.
I would have liked this a few years ago. It's just so average, that it's not even worth it.
I like it apart from the soft song, pretty catchy.
I really like the album. Maybe a little too stuffed with ballads for my tastes, but the crunchier songs are all pretty great. Saints and Sinners is catchy as fuck.
RIYL are weird, the album doesn't sound like any of them imho, it reminds me more of A7X or HIM, lol
but it has some solid trakcs, I like it |
Not feelin it. I'll give it another chance later though.
it's a solid record. It's like a mix of Spoken and Dead Poetic with some bad ass guitar solos thrown in
so fucking good
Great album.
pretty sure our friends did a tour with these guys, absolutely love this stuff.

So, hearing the songs in context of the whole album, I feel like I'm gonna give these guys more of a chance |
