EDIT: Screw my original recommendations, I was listening to this and fell in love with Relient K again.

Relient K - Is For Karaoke

Their cover of Africa (originally by Toto) is an absolute treat!

I heard your footsteps this morning.
You know it’s hard to get by when you don’t sleep at all.

I’m just trying to be honest when I say my body’s feeling tired,
and I’ve got to move on,
but I hope and I pray that your legs will somehow find the strength.

Niiiice. I hardly ever see anyone talk about Abandoned Pools. I don't like Armed To The Teeth as much as Humanistic, but it's all good stuff. Excited about the new album, whenever it comes out.

Yeah I actually heard about him/them on here but I don't remember exactly who told me to check them out. And I got Armed To The Teeth first, spent more time on it, and therefore might favor it a bit more over Humanistic. According to his website, the new album Sublime Currency is coming out later this year. Hopefully that's true because it has been way too long.

Yeah, I heard Humanistic first, so that could be why I like it more. I actually heard of them through the cartoon Clone High, which they did the theme song for (as well as contributing a few songs to the soundtrack). Armed to the Teeth seems darker. I like the different styles and lighter songs on Humanistic. Both are great though. But the songs I have heard from Sublime Currency sound pretty good, so it's near the top of my most anticipated list.
