Games Round-UpWell hello everyone, Anthony here for another week of the Gamer Round-Up! Viva is currently in New York so I've had this week's round-up on my shoulders. Hopefully things will go well with me with the reins.

THIS WEEK IN GAMING

Sony has announced that the Jak and Daxter series will be getting the HD collection treatment. There's no release date as of yet, but Sony has stated that details are forthcoming.
For those who grew up with The Simpson's Arcade Game, it looks like the game is being prepped for a XBL/PSN release. However, there has been no word of a Coleco computer system port yet.
If you were looking forward to the remake of XCOM, it looks like you're going to have to wait a little bit longer. The game's release has been delayed from April 2012 at the earliest and March 2013 at the latest.
Rumors have been swirling about the next iteration of Xbox. The system is said to run on a modified version of Windows 9 with ARM architecture and will be "cheaper and far smaller" then the current 360.
In case you were wondering , Saints Row: The Third will require an online pass.
Nintendo has announced they are considering of making a new 2D, top-down Zelda game for the 3DS.
Following the release the highly anticipated MW3, the heavily promoted Elite service that launched with the game is off to a rough start. Activison is currently working on getting the service up and running and is offering a free month of Elite to those whom paid for a Premium membership.

For those looking for cheap game deals this Black Friday, details for Wal-Mart's Black Friday sale have been released via an early preview of their Black Friday circular. The sale also happens to start on Thanksgiving at 10 PM sharp.
Best Buy's Black Friday deals have also made it's way to the internet.

While the release of Wii U is still a ways away, Team Ninja has announced that Ninja Gaiden 3 will launch with the system.
Apparently one man in Denver really wanted to play Modern Warfare 3 so much, he threatened to blow up a Best Buy for not allegedly not having his Hardened edition of the game preorder on file.
Steam, the staple of PC gaming, has been hacked. Gabe Newell has released a personal apology for the attack.
According to the president of EA Games, Battlefield 4 will come out sometime in the future.
Capcom, realizing money can be made in odd places, are charging for cheat codes for Dead Rising 2: Off The Record.
According to Blizzard, WOW subscriptions are down by 10%.
Playdead has announced that Limbo has sold one million copies and is heading to Mac by the end of the year.
Ubisoft has announced the PC version of the upcoming Assassins Creed title will not feature their infamous "always on" online DRM.
