UK Music Round-Up (02/05/12)
Head to the replies to see this week's UK Music Round-Up.

Thanks to Sean for helping out this week.
|
Interested to hear everyone's thoughts on festival line-ups so far.
Also, I like where Tiger Please are going with the name change/new material. |
Queen for Sonisphere is an interesting one, would I be wrong to say they've never headlined a British festival before?

Download is looking very good, Saturday and Sunday that is. Hope Anthrax is playing the Saturday tbh. |

Not bad, not great. Will be interesting to see what reading and Leeds have up their sleeve but for me it's gotta be slam dunk. Best festival I've been to in years and the lineup is always good enough to warrant the ticket price. |

Agreed on Slam Dunk. Tickets are usually no more than 25 pounds and have way more bands in a day I would want to see than spread out all over the weekend at say Leeds. I know atmosphere is a big part of why people go to festivals but Slam Dunk has a pretty sick one too. |
If Charlie Simpson played a date in the U.S. near me, I'd so take a road trip to go see him.
|
Loving the Darkness. Also great to see a band from Worcester ( where i live) Never heard them and not my thing but good to see anyway.

They were roughly £32 last year, i'd expect that to go up again this year. Though it's still great value for money. The first announcement will be made on 15th feb. |
So glad I read this or would never of seen Tiger Please name change, gutted Promise of Redemption isn't coming to Leeds.
