Attack Attack! No Longer on Rise Records

Attack Attack! are no longer on Rise Records; they have 10 songs, produced by John Feldman, already completed for their next album though.
From the ArticleSo we already have another record sort of in the tubes right now; and were going to sort of tinker with it throughout the year. [...] We dont have another record label or anything lined up and probably not planning on going to another one. So its like weve got this sitting around that we can do whatever the hell we want with whenever we want.

Yes, yes it did.

Nice game plan, they can do pretty well without a label probably. Even if they shit out the same song ten times they'll be making more money with it.

But these guys are the epitome of Risecore. Noooooooo...

Rise Records gets better and better every day.

John Feldman is dead to me.

Rise is gotten so much more respectable in the past two years.

My slight new faith in music will be destroyed when they get signed somewhere else and release more shit.

Can you compare the two? AA!, whether you like the music or not, is the biggest band in that side of the scene. Much bigger than FTSK were at any point I would argue, and especially much bigger than FTSK six months ago when they opted to go that way.

If they grow their fan base with this record (which seems to be working) and play the, "support us! we're on our own now!" card, I think they'll be probably alright.

If they sold 19K copies again and did it completely on their own, that's a nice amount of money on top of all merch income, tour income, etc
