Tom Gates, former manager of Brand New and The Format, and currently of Good Old War -- has released his new book, Wayward: Fetching Tales from a Year on the Road. I haven't read it yet (but will soon) - however, long-time readers will remember one of the (fantastic) pieces he wrote about the break-up of The Format. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Just reread his post about The Format. Damn, I miss that band.

I know that was some what of a depressing post about The Format, but it some how got me really inspired. What a great fucking read. Dude knows how to write.

I believe a physical copy will be released in the future (if Facebook is to be believed).

I'm going to have to read that book. That piece about The Format was what made me check them out in the first place.

Sucks that it is not yet available in hard copy format, I loathe all eReaders.
