i live about 5 minutes from the park and every year i go and just stand on a crate or something and watch the shows. good spread of artists this year, i cant wait for the black keys

MrGlanthor 04/08/12 09:21 PM

Surprised OF isnt on this

Tyler Vagyler 04/08/12 09:22 PM

nice

domotime2 04/08/12 09:23 PM

looks like a festival.

thisisadisaster 04/08/12 09:23 PM

i can fuck with this.

theintention 04/08/12 09:25 PM

I love seeing all the EDM in these festivals. I may be the only one on this site who does...

TomAce 04/08/12 09:26 PM

red hot chilli peppers and black keys? they having a beer pong tourney too? yikes...not going

swboyd 04/08/12 09:30 PM

I contemplated attempting to go to this but I think I'd rather just see the few bands I like on this in smaller shows when I can...

FUCKDIRTYWIPES 04/08/12 09:31 PM

Sigur Ros.

arson 04/08/12 09:31 PM

Damn, I was expecting this lineup to be a lot better; I might sell my ticket now.

kidinthebushes 04/08/12 09:33 PM

So a Brazilian website is leaking the Chicago lineup?

Weird.

cubsml34 04/08/12 09:35 PM

Franz Ferdinand, Black Keys, Black Sabbath, RHCP, ATDI, Gambino? Yep I'm there haha.

XEmoBoyShandorX 04/08/12 09:36 PM

Helluva line up.

Ismael182 04/08/12 09:41 PM

The Black Keys! Otherwise ehh maybe.

FUCKDIRTYWIPES 04/08/12 09:42 PM

I better not have any conflicts with ATDI.

ParkAvenue 04/08/12 09:51 PM

Hasn't the line-up for this year "leaked" like 3 times already? Still, if this is any sort of accurate, I will most definitely be there.

Lollapalooza Brazil just happened this weekend. Derp

ChrisJamesAdams 04/08/12 09:57 PM

So glad I already bought my three day pass. Passion Pit is my favorite modern pop act, I can't wait to get to see them.

Eraux 04/08/12 09:59 PM

really great for electronica/dubstep!

phaynes1 04/08/12 10:03 PM

If At The Drive In is accurate, looks like I'll have an excuse to fly back home.

phaynes1 04/08/12 10:04 PM

Also, pretty sure the official lineup announcement is Tuesday.

TidingsFromSean 04/08/12 10:06 PM

The Tallest Man On Earth and ATDI. That's enough for me, going.

You're not alone. It's a big part of music during our existence and I love it now (of course after dipping my feet in the water for about a year). It may not be the most complex music out there, but there are tons of people who can't recreate the sounds and atmosphere they make. Such good party/dance/fun time jams.

FTSKayluhh 04/08/12 10:21 PM

Hmm.. who wants to buy me tickets and let me crash at their place for a few days in exchange for hugs and cupcakes?!

Glad I'm not alone. Knife party is the shit.

I'm kind of feeling the same about this. =/

I was really hoping for The Killers. I feel like there are a bunch of bands still missing, so fingers crossed. I guess we'll all know in 2 days.

BuiltToFall 04/08/12 10:29 PM

Not really feeling that lineup all that much. Sure there are some great artists, but Bonnaroo seems much stronger.

mattregan 04/08/12 10:30 PM

Avicii!

bobcatbob18 04/08/12 10:30 PM

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers
  • Black Sabbath
  • At the Drive-In
  • Passion Pit
  • Bloc Party
  • Childish Gambino
  • The Temper Trap
  • tUnE-yArDs
  • FUN.
  • Doomtree
Top picks for me, seeing as how I haven't heard of most of these artists. I will lose my shit during ATDI and Bloc Party.

IceAge/HeatWave 04/08/12 10:32 PM

between Bonnaroo, Coachella, and this, I feel like this is the weakest. not terrible, and ATDI is a major get, but i feel good about having Bonnaroo tickets opposed to this, with Coachella being out of my reach haha

Mr.Piano93 04/08/12 10:33 PM

holy fuck. fantastic lineup

The.Grim 04/08/12 10:42 PM

To all those claiming Bonnaroo has a better line-up; Bonnaroo hasn't any Sigur Ros. Nuff said.

thisisadisaster 04/08/12 10:43 PM

headliners are for the most part weak sauce, but holy fuck that undercard.

8SlicesOfPie 04/08/12 10:45 PM

Pretty dope list

Chris Collum 04/08/12 10:45 PM

Wow wow wow do want

There are so many electronic acts I want to see but I have a feeling it's going to interfere with so many other acts for me. I've love to see Avicii, Bassnectar, and Calvin Harris.

cubs223425 04/08/12 11:34 PM

1. I don't care for any of this.
2. Can people PLEASE stop being lazy and spell out bands? I can't understand what half of the acronyms are for anymore. It's quite frustrating.

Both of these are you're own problems. Not ours.

fireworksordie 04/08/12 11:57 PM

This can't be the final list- Kimbra is confirmed via the Lolla ads and is nowhere on that list. Close? probably. But I'm calling not legit.

BarackBrobama 04/08/12 11:57 PM

People's reactions to festival lineups are hilarious, if there are more than 3 DJ's/artists you want to go see, in one place, what the fuck are you complaining about.

If there are only three artists I want to see, I most certainly am not paying upwards of 80$ a day, plus transportation/lodging, to see those artists play for half the time they would if I saw them at a proper venue only for it potentially to get canceled due to rain because its outdoors.

Ashur 04/09/12 12:13 AM

Hmmm, might have to stay in Chicago this summer.

I wish stupid Bamboozle wasn't around here. Once again, Lollapalooza, Coachella, and Bonnaroo's lineups put it to shame.

zbrmike79 04/09/12 03:33 AM

Sigur Ros and At the Drive-In, all at once. that might be a selling point for me.
