I like this record and this band. They might not be breaking ground but they sound like they give a fuck about what they're playing and how they sound. I can respect that.

Drew, I was hoping you were gonna say you hardly had time to read your own reviews, lol.

"Jangly" is one of the most useful words to describes this and similar varieties of music. I don't know anyone who doesn't use that word. If someone shows resistance to employing the word, I stop knowing him/her.

I really like what the band is doing on this album, but the production just kills the mood for me. They were clearly going for a raw aesthetic but it's so far in that direction I'm losing what's going on half the time.
