wasn't a fan of the new album unfortunately, but this is a cool song. Reminds me of the Baseball era stuff honestly.
|
The new album isn't their best but I love this song to bits. Shame I can't see this version.
|
the v-neck he is wearing is so deep!
|
I've loved every SA album except the most recent. I was so disappointed. The passion from previous releases seemed almost non-existent to me.

Deeper than the lyrics on this record. |

I know that Max sometimes likes to come on here and see what his fans are saying, so, if you're reading this: you can do better. Some of the songs are quite good but you said that you were making a record your true fans would love, though I think you just might have a very skewed purview of exactly what it is that we, as fans, do like about your band.
|
Max, if you're reading this, ignore the Debbie Downers on this site and keep doing your thing. I didn't even look forward to this record based on the bitching about it when it leaked. But I like it quite alot, and enjoy it more than the last two releases actually. Soooo good job.

Can't watch it in Canada.. Any other links to this?

When I talked to Max back in December, he said he's not going to be reading any forums or anything during this records release. The only interaction he's doing is twitter with the fans. Those are the only thoughts about the album that he's reading. Who knows though, he may have changed his mind since then. |

Maybe that's the point though. Only here from the "fans" and ignore the "haters". |
Maybe it's because this has always been my favorite band, but I honestly love the new album. It's definitely a step-up from the self-titles, and the production may not be aces but the songwriting reminded me a lot of Is A Real Boy. I think they're doing what they want to, and I'm happy with the results.
