Green Day is Dos

Looks like Green Day will show up at number two on the charts this week with about 140k copies of their new album sold.

How good is this? Not very knowledgeable when it comes to stuff like this.

Pretty decent I mean Blink sold less with Neighborhoods last year and that's Blink. Its tough times for a band selling records these days with piracy.

Excellent album.

That's pretty good these days.

Pretty solid week overall considering no one buys music now days. Top 5 releases all sold 90,000+ (rounding up a bit on Lupe) nice to see that

Light_Grenades 10/03/12 04:31 PM

MUCH better than I thought they would do since the singles were not big hits at all. I am a fan of the band, not so much of the album.

I'm not a little fucking lion man! I can't sell close to 600 fucking thousand albums!

Lawliet 10/03/12 05:01 PM

that's pretty good...better than bieber tho?

Supernova 10/03/12 05:17 PM

I guess you could say that Blink is now the most relevant pop punk band. Or maybe just that their fanbase is a lot more dedicated while most of Green Day's is made up of casual listeners who are less likely to buy an album.
