Song Stream: Looking For Alaska

To celebrate Looking For Alaska's recent release of their new Sing Your Heart Out EP, we're streaming "Holden Caulfield" (yeah, yeah, we know itís a Salinger reference). Exercising a very different feel than the band's previous progressive material, the track has a pop-rock vibe due to guitarist Calvin Lauber taking over vocal duties. Hear it on their AP.net Profile or in the replies. Be sure to read our review of the EP.

Pretty much what I take away from this

Also, I feel like literacy references will be the next trend I hate as much as maritime lifestyle references and varsity print.

Enjoyed it and I'm not bugged by the references. Two of my favorites books.

Wasn't trying to bash you guys, by the way. Song is sick. I was just pointing out that I'm seeing more and more references to books. Which is cool, I guess. At least people are reading, haha. Job well done.

It's nothing new. You are simply starting to notice it.

Also true. Or maybe most of the references are just over my head
