Questions for Anberlin?
I'll be interviewing Anberlin about Vital tomorrow - if you've got any questions about the record, leave them in the replies. Watch for the album review Monday.

How do you wrestle between including your faith into your songs and keeping it separate to reach a wider audience? For example do you worry about how non-religious fans will react to the feelings espoused in fin? Also, how do you see this relating to Vitals album closer "God, Sex, and Drugs"? |

Who chose the album art and what is the meaning behind it?
|
I've been wondering for a long time why Audrey Hepburn was the inspiration for the title "Audrey Start the Revolution. " Would love an explanation. Thanks!
Edit: just realizes thus is Vital only. My bad! I'd like to know where the name "Type 3" came from/ what it refers to. |
What is the meaning behind the album title?

Ask what was the draw to returning to Aaron Sprinkle this go around.

What are some of the lyrical themes present on this album? NTFP had a lot of relationship-oriented stuff, Cities was very introspective, NS was very topical, DITW seemed more poetry-driven... What's the theme(s) here? Any specific lyrical influences during the writing process? Is there an album that this is similar to lyrically?

Is tooth & nail ever going to stop rereleasing anberlin albums
|
why a double 10" LP as opposed to a standard 12" inch record?
|
"type three" is about tooth & nail, yes/yes?
|
You're calling this album "one for the fans." Does making a record for the fans make it a less fun record to make?
|
Ask them how they view it as a follow up to Dark... ? Dark seemed like a misstep and ask them if they consider Vital a return to form, or was Dark necessary in order to evolve into this record?
Obviously word it so it's not as offensive, but I'd like to hear the bands thoughts on what part of their career they'd consider this album part of. Redemption or if they truly thought their last record was the best they could write at the time |
