Mumford & Sons Have Most Singles Charted Since Beatles
Mumford & Sons have six different songs from their new album, Babel, that debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 this past week -- the most since The Beatles did it back in 1964.
But all The Beatles songs sound the same!
I wish I liked this as much as the rest of the world seems to .... it's ok, just not that great.
Oof. This is sad
I really liked the last album, and I'm enjoying this one as well, but seriously - what is going on? Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that something other than gaga and bieber sells, but this seems to be some kind of fluke in the mainstream universe.

Yay for The Beatles! I'd prefer it be M&S to tie this record then some other musician... like Skrillex (even though I like him).
I don't get itttttttt
So.... they released six singles at the same time?
I'm confused... |
really isn't that shocking. Mumford is a band that can cross over into several genre markets- rock, country, folk, even pop. Its the same reason Taylor Swift does massive numbers, she's got the pop and country audience.
Also shocked that Lover of the Light isn't one of the songs on the top 100. Probably one of my favorites from Babel. |
Cue over-exaggerated shitstorm in 3...2...1...
