Halloween Films/Shorts/TV Episodes/Etc.
My girlfriend and I are throwing a Halloween party this year and have one room that's going to have Halloween-related movies playing continuously. It can be scary, funny, whatever. A few things we have are the It's the Great Pumpkin, a couple Nickelodeon Halloween episodes, Beetlejuice & The Addams Family. Besides that, we are stumped.
Anyone have any suggestions for absolutely necessary things we have to play? |

Trick 'R Treat Hallowe'en The Community Hallowe'en specials Ghostwatch |
Trick 'r Treat, Boy Meets World episode ''And Then There Was Shawn'', The original Halloween, That '70's Show Halloween episodes (''That '70's Halloween'' and 'Too Old to Trick or Treat Too Young to Die'', Goosebumps' The Haunted Mask, Hocus Pocus, The Innkeepers (not set on Halloween, but it's funny and creepy), Happy Endings episode ''Spooky Endings''

The haunted house segment from V/H/S was a lot of fun.

Stuff that people know so they don't have to pay complete attention and can go in and out. So make it horror classics:
A Nightmare on Elm Street The Shining Friday the 13th Pet Sematary Child's Play Halloween Poltergeist Scream |
And Then There Was Shawn from Boy Meets World every time.
|
Or if you want to go for a kids theme:
Gremlins Halloween Boy Meets World episode Casper Beetlejuice Hocus Pocus Nightmare Before Christmas (although I consider this a Christmas movie) Ghost Busters |
Any of the old school Simpsons Treehouse of Horror specials would work great.

V/H/S was surprisingly pretty good, def check that one out. I'd also go with The Cabin in the Woods and/or Trick 'r Treat.
