One Direction on Ed Sheeran: "Best Lyricist Of Our Generation"
 

One Direction says that Ed Sheeran is "one of the best lyricists of our generation." Sheeran wrote a new One Direction track entitled, "I Would," which will be featured on their upcoming album.

"He's just one of the best lyricists of our generation, so having the chance to work with him is amazing. It was really important for us," he said. "His method recording wise, you just do a couple of takes because he likes to keep it really raw and really real."

Yes because obviously these guys know good lyrics.

They have a point.

I have seen the musical apocalypse, and it comes from only one direction.

I've got respect for 1D for making kid friendly songs about getting bitches.

I don't know what confuses me more - people who don't write their own music or the people eating this shit up like candy.

The Wanted are the best songwriters of this generation. They say a line and then start the next line with the last word from the previous line. Pure genius!
