Odd. I don't have any personal connection to this series, but i'm very interested to see what the overall reaction to this is.

As someone who just watched the original trilogy for the first time this year, and hasn't seen any of the prequel trilogy, I say 'fuck yeah!'

If George Lucas isn't writing though then it's safe to say it won't be the worst in the series. I hope he isn't writing.

Yeah, without Lucas I think Disney could do something really great with the series.

Between the fantastic stories that were developed with The Clone Wars or The Knights of the Old Republic, there's plenty of GOOD content they can use. I'm hoping this will be awesome.

I actually read the article this time. George Lucas is a "creative consultant". So I think that means he isn't writing but he's still giving input.

There's a difference between a Disney production and a production done by someone owned by Disney. I'm not saying this won't be bad, I'm just saying that you won't be seeing that little blue and white castle before the movie.
