Featured Stream: Pig Destroyer
 

Grindcore nihilists Pig Destroyer released their fifth album, Book Burner, last week via Relapse Records. The deluxe edition comes with an EP of classic hardcore/punk covers, including Black Flag, Misfits, Minor Threat, Circle Jerks, Angry Samoans, Negative Approach and Void. This one totally rips. Probably the best thing they've ever done.

This may be my least favorite PD album. Too many "catchy" parts and not enough grind. If you can honestly say this is better than Prowler or Terrifyer my hat is off to you

Actually, my only gripe is with the production. It sounded a lot better at 192 than at 320.
