Shows That Are Happening This Week:

So Off With Their Heads were supposed to kick off a western Canadian tour last night, but they were turned away at the border because of paperwork issues. The band will try to get that dealt with so they can play the remaining dates, but Winnipeg still has to miss out because some promoter in BC messed everything up.

Otherwise Stars/Metric , Comeback Kid, Lifestory:Monologue and Gallows are on the road like I reported last week. Someone mentioned Man Overboard's "mini Canadian tour" that kicks off next weekend. Did anyone catch those Sum 41 shows? Was it worth it?

In other news, Cancer Bats/Gwar will be doing some Canadian shows, mostly in the western half of the country. Faber Drive is also touring across Canada in case anyone is interested in that.

When's it coming out? I'll add it to our release calendar.

Can't wait for the new Tegan and Sara album! Really hope they do a headlining tour after its release.

Me too! I still need to see them live and I hear they're really good.

Yeah I have never seen them live either, was considering catching them opening for the Killers, but The Killers new album was awful and I had no desire to pay that kind of money to hear them play it live. Hopefully Tegan and Sara will do headlining small venues next year.

Matthew Good has finished writing new album. Recording from November-January. New single expected in mid-spring. Album out September 2013.

He has a full band tracking this time, he will not play each part himself. Also, he says it is a "rock" record and is going back to his early influences.

Sum 41 in Quebec City last night was great. I heard Montreal show was the best of the tour so far...
