Gentlemen and Scholars Announce Next Album Information
 

Gentlemen and Scholars have announced the release date and title for their follow up to 2011's Bad Apples EP. The band will release Thick as Mud on January 15th. They are also giving away 200 free downloads of their entire back catalog on their bandcamp page.

Did they get this name from How I met your Mother?

Haha! Actually, no. We did not get our name from HIMYM. We toyed around with the idea of different names for a long time, and we eventually ended up with Gentlemen and Scholars back in '05-'06.

Ah damn lol. Regardless of the name, I dig the music. Next time you come to the NYC area, I'll make it out for a show.
